It is amazing that everyone in rugby union land has sudenly heard of rochdale RUFC, and are claiming that rochdale are volunteering to go to North 2 East.Please find the attached correspondence between the leauge committiees and ourselves, i think that anyone that reads these articals will be left in no doubt that Rochdale did not volunteer.

It has taken a great deal of work form everyone in the club to sort the club out and end up with fantastic new facilities. with the loss of the RFU funding and the paltry subsides offered, does anyone really thibnk that we would volunteer to fork out a minimum of an additional 5k.

We are looking forward to meeting the new freinds in the norht east this season, however if as a club we are unable to afford to travel, then we will not jepardise the finances of the club and therefore may be unable to fulfil some of the leauge games.
